Here is a new video I produced for "IdeRide with Lil'. The new division of IdeRide is run by a woman(Lilias Ide) for women to take their riding to the next level from complete beginner to advanced.
The first clinic of the season begins May 8th and runs from 9 am-3pm and goes over basic mechanical skills then exploring Kingdom Trails while learning new skills like braking, cornering, steeps and more. $90 for the day long event with an amazing rider and coach.

ideRide Ultimate Freeride Camp

Check out this video i put together for the ideRide crew over in East Burke. Mocean365 is the official photo and video company for ideRide and we are very happy to be working with them again in 2010. We will also be supplying movement instruction to camps as well with portions of our Mocean365 Movement Sessions.

The Ide's are good friends and amazing people who are following their dreams of passing along their passion for mountain biking on to others. The camps are held on world-class terrain and all participants get lots of individual attention.

Starting in 2010 there will be lots of exciting programs for not only kids but all ages and abilities and interest levels. Here is a video for the 'ideRide Ultimate Freeride Camp". This camp is the pinnacle of the ideRide experience and is not to be missed.
stay tuned for more videos in the near future!

The Tribe comes to town

Mocean365 tribe member "Stompy" recently came down for a couple days of non-stop adventure at the Mocean365 backwoods crib.
We hit up the "DH trail" to "Camptown" to Enchanted Forest then to the new trail, "Burnham Down" which brings you all the way back to town.
We hit up the pump track with the big bikes and then met some folks for a Mocean365 Action Workout where we did an "alchemy" of movements with Burke Mountain as our backdrop. Kind of beats the gym eh?

Jammed at night with new cat Pete McAlenney and got together some fun songs..everything from Rage, to Social D to Rise Against and Smashing Pumpkins, Sublime etc etc. Peter does some amazing GIS work and if you need some you should give him a shout!!

Another ride in the arvo then Stompy went to get in some Wakeboarding crew with the usual Thursday gang(Meghan, O-town, Matty Fred etc) that i opted out of this week to let my wrist heal after a run in with a tree at Highland Mountain. Instead i lead another workout at the East Burke town field and got home to do some more log work, prepping logs for the new addition Vange has going on. Stompy got back and we tortured the wakeboarding crew with another jam with Stomp going hard on the vocals during some Beasties and some original songs he dug up.

Got some trail and dirt jump work done too with some new lines going in all around. Had Stompdog rally his sick new KTM dirt bike up and down the trail while i cut and trimmed to help beat it in. I'll get some pics of the work soon so you can plan your next riding trip right here!

Friday night had a jam with a new band project i'm in led by Scotty Raymond aka "Eskae one ", one of the partners at Kingdom Outdoors/Indigenous Board Shop. We had DJ Transplante playing with us that night which was incredible. Great humble dude and very talented. Lloyd Dugger kept it all together with his mad talents and Matt added the dark guitar while i tried to just lay it down as Scotty turned out sick rhyme after rhyme! stay tuned for more on the new project. think soul, jazz, rock, hip hop blend.

Yesterday got a bunch of work done then hit the mountain with Knight of the IdeRide crew. rode most of the road up to the mtn then we pushed our bikes straight up then rallied down "J-Bar" and "Burnham Down".
Pretty sweet few days..didn't make much money but damn had some fun. Got a couple shots here and there of Stompy rocking the Bern and Peter but nothing crazy.

peace

Mocean365 helps with new trail

Here is a post from one of our partners, IdeRide. check out that Mocean365 hoodie i'm rocking..get one today!

"On Sunday, May 31 at 9:00 am twenty hardcore freeriders met at the Burke mtn base lodge parking lot. The goal, to build the long anticipated trail that will connect J-Bar to the summit.

"Despite near constant rain volunteers came from near and far and included some of VT's best professional trailbuilders such as Hardy Avery, Stowe's trail guru and Aaron Codling of New England Freeride. Headed up by KT's own John Worth, This trail building machine left an awesome section of trail in its wake.
There is much work left to be done with Sundays labor yielding only an eighth of the total trail length. The next volunteer day is Sunday, June 14, see you there!

Vermont movie night wrap up

We had a great time at the VMBA movie night in Burlington VT over the weekend. They showed New World Disorder 9" which was another masterpiece by the Freeride Entertainment crew.
IdeRide and Mocean365 were sponsors of the event and rallied up to the show in the new IdeRide bus which was rad and had plenty of seating for the physically and mentally challenged(had to be there).
VMBA is doing great work and make mountain biking possible in many areas..without them we'd be screwed!
alright..the kid that won the longboard that we raffled off had the best "fro" ever!
check it out!

Mocean365 is stoked to be a partner with IdeRide as the official Photography and Video Production crew for this venture. Mocean365 will be on hand for professional production for camps and custom adventures. Hell, we can even produce a mtb video for you and your crew or make a new coffee table photo book through Blurb. The options are limiteless depending on your time and budget.

We are very excited and proud to see IdeRide get the wheels off the ground running and hope to see you all up here soon!
