What the locals do before the wind arrives

The spot, Jones beach. We got to Jones around 2 pm their was no wind yet so some guys from Seattle rigged up a tow rope and started pulling people behind their truck.

Kevin brought a slider down on his trailer, and Chanson was the first to hit it with his skim board.

Blake and Nate.
Nate.

The wind turned on around 5pm and everybody hit the water. Blake on the slider.

Carl, one of the locals was anxious to get out on the water and rigged his kite wrong, he had his rear bridle crossed with his front bridle. When he launched it he noticed it and when he brought the kite to the side of the window to lower it, the kite looped and pulled him hard right into this truck, his shoulder hit the door and his head took out the window! He was fine and 10 minutes later was out kiting.
